Nurse Training In Ireland
Residential nursing homes
Barchester Ireland is introducing a better quality of care home and options for retirement living to Ireland. Based on a philosophy of attaining the highest standards, Barchester Ireland offers a premium seniors’ living environment.
A new education and research centre at a Dublin hospice could result in improved care services for the elderly. The facility at Our Lady's Hospice at Harold's Cross in Dublin has been opened this week and will enable further research into palliative and elderly care, as well as rheumatology, Irish Health reports. Mo Flynn, chief executive of the hospice, said that high quality care requires a thorough knowledge and in-depth training on the part of staff, in which the new unit looks set to play a part. "Palliative care is a relatively new area of health specialism and without continued research, improved standards and protocols for care could not be developed, " she commented. The centre cost €6.5 million to build and will offer undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. The hospice completed a new education and research building for conferences and courses relating to all health disciplines last September.
Barchester Ireland is committed to providing Ireland with high quality Nursing homes and active retirement communities. Knightsbridge, with its dedication to residents’ health and happiness, exemplifies our standards and philosophy.
We also provide persons with the choice of living independently in an apartment or house within the grounds of one of our care homes. Residents can avail f as much support as they deem necessary from a Menu of Services or through a regular planned Home Care Package.
