Is there a place named Moneen in Ballyduff, Ireland?
I just got a copy of my great great grandparents' marriage record from Ballyduff, Kerry, Ireland. They were married on January 24, 1885 and this was a huge break through on this side of my family as I have not been able to get anything really concrete on them before this. Well my dilemma is this. It says that my great great grandfather's (Timothy Cantillon's) place of resident was Ballyheigue and his father was John, both were farmers. My great great grandmother (Honora O Connor) has her place of residence listed in "Moneen" and her father's name was John Connor. I don't really know what or where Moneen is. I tried googling it, but the only place I could found is a town namd Moneen in County Galway which I doubt is where she lived because with present-day travel it is a good 2-3 hour trips north. Does anyone know if there is a house, apartment, or part of town in Ballyduff named Moneen? I also found a birth record for a Honoria Connor, daughter of John Connor and Ellen Kennelly, in the town of Ballyduff on September 1, 1865 which would make her 20 at the time of her marriage, thus a possibility. So, basically what I need to know is if anyone reading this knows whether or not there is a place in Ballyduff named Moneen.
Also should I order Honoria's birth certificate from Ireland and see if her father and mother's residence is at Moneen also?
