Your Irish Delight: Colin Farell

That words come from legendary Woody Allen that pertains to Irish sensation Collin Farrell. Amidst his bad boy image, he remains as succulent and fresh for every kin of Eve. Colin's first appearance in Tigerland make his way to Hollywood stardom. This 31-year old hot men got acting skills not to mention his handsome broods and sexiness personified.

Unlike his father and uncle who are known football players in his native land, Colin diverts his attention to acting. Taking formal acting at Gaiety School of Drama in Dublin, he dropped out of school to film for a miniseries entitled Falling For a Dancer. It made a following having him series of commercials and small roles for TV. It is in Ballykissangel that he is known for and considered as his breakthrough for acting.

He was billed with Britain's Tilda Swinton and Ray Winstone in Tim Roth's The War Zone. This follows a major turning point in his career as he is casted as one of the lead actors in Tigerland. That makes him a debut in Hollywood and created a following for other films. Another starring role in American Outlaws as Jesse James. That role marked him as a well-made actor.

He moved on to another big picture Hart's War with Bruce Willis. Then comes Steven Spielberg's Minority Report along with Tom Cruise but in a small portrayal. Since this movie, he goes with other brilliant actors such as Al Pacino for The Recruit. His thriller movie Phone Booth created a lot of noise as he played a man trapped in a phone booth risking his life at the pull of a trigger.

It's been a good year for him having hit films one after another. In Daredevil, he plays as one of this hero's enemies Bullseye. He appeared in films Intermission, Veronica Guerin and S.W.A.T. A year has passed and he appeared in A Home At The End Of The World with Robin Wright Penn. After this, he played one of history's greatest conqueror Alexander topbilled with Angelina Jolie and Anthony Hopkins.

In the romance-drama Ask the Dust, he shifted his image from a toughie to a mushy having Salma Hayek as his lady love. He also starred in the movie adaptation of Pocahontas as Captain John Smith. With Jamie Foxx in another action flick Miami Vice, Collin takes it into the new level as a vice detective. Catch more of him in Cassandra's Dream for 2007. Pride and Glory, In Bruges, and Dirt Music all set for 2008.

As far as his expertise not to mention his notable performances, that certifies him a hot and sexy man in his own right.
