Great Vacation Deals

By visiting 1 Stop Travel Directory, you will find many great vacation deals. If you plan to go on vacation, but you did not decide about the place, 1 Stop Travel Directory offers you a lot of suggestion. Just type some activities you would like to enjoy and select the region and you will have some ideas for your vacation.

You can find here information regarding many tourism attractions as well. One of these great places is at 150 kilometers from Toronto on Grey County's 10th Concession Line, in Singhampton, Ontario, and it is known as Eigensinn Farm. Natures, the outdoors, community life, all provide opportunities for tourism development.

To passersby, the quaint little farmhouse and barn at the end of the long and rutted driveway does not look any different than the other farmhouses and barns that abound throughout the countryside of Canada. Home of Chef Michael Stadtlander, his wife, Nobuyo, and their son Hermann, this farmhouse has come to be one of the most praised restaurants in the world. Upon arrival, guests are invited to wander the farm and admire the livestock.

They roam about through the open land, enjoying the peaceful serenity of the country and letting the outside world with all its concerns melt away. In addition to the wildlife and animals present on the farm, there are also many different pieces of artwork, most created by the famous Chef himself. If you prefer a family-like atmosphere, this could be one of the best vacation deals. The family-like atmosphere is created by the fact that there are only a few reservations available for each dinner, and that there is no kitchen staff or waitress. At a price of $275 dollars a head, guests are served more than just dinner, and that is what keeps them coming back for more.

Another tourism attraction is in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As the world's second largest natural harbor, and Canada's gateway to the Atlantic Ocean, Halifax Harbor and this historic city make an excellent backdrop for the giant sails of the Tall Ships competing in the challenge. Not only visitors will have the chance to enjoy these amazing examples of nautical architecture, they will be able to explore the streets of Halifax, drinking in everything the downtown and harbor area has to offer. This is the fourth time that Tall Ships has come to Nova Scotia.

This year, it is the second to last stop on a race of more than 7, 000 nautical miles, traversing the North Atlantic Ocean. Starting in Spain, the ships move on to the Canary Islands, then it's off
across the ocean, setting their sails for Bermuda. Tentatively they will race to Chesapeake Bay before porting in Boston. From there, it's up to Halifax, and, for the final leg of the race, over 2, 300 nautical miles to Belfast, Northern Ireland, where the grand finale celebrations are to be held. In Halifax celebrations over these four days include the 250th anniversary of the Naval Port. As ships sail out on Monday, July 20th they will partake in the Parade of Sails, a spectacular event not to be missed. Visitors to Tall Ships are invited to board these magnificent vessels. Crossing the gangway is like crossing into a different time.

There is something surreal about standing at the bow of these grand ships, the harbor on one side, a world away, and the ocean on the other, beckoning you to raise the sails and disappear into the horizon. It is a great way for the whole family to enjoy quality time together, discovering the beauty of the world's finest Tall Ships, as well as exploring a bit of the city of Halifax. It is an amazing thing to be part of an international event that brings such history and such beauty to different ports throughout the Atlantic Ocean.

Plans have already been put into action to bring a great variety of fine entertainment to Halifax, adding to the appeal of this five-day festival. Visitors can also relax onshore and enjoy fine food at many of the area's world-class restaurants and cafs. Anticipation mounts as all of Nova Scotia prepares to host this exciting event. All these predict one of the best vacation deals.

Many vacation deals can be found on the 1 Stop Travel Directory, as well as information regarding tourism attractions.
