Ballybunion Family Vacations In Ireland
There are lots of activities for children to enjoy when staying in Ballybunion, County Kerry, Ireland. There are seven miles of beaches on the coastline, so for good days a visit to the beach with buckets and spades is a must. Don't forget to bring plenty of drinking water and sun block! The town has a well-maintained fenced playground. This is great for children of all ages and for parents too who might finally have a chance to catch their breathe while the kids play in the safe environment. There's bound to be the occasional victim of a fall but the soft padded ground will minimise the risk and the tears.
There are plenty of places to treat children to ice-creams and snacks in the main street of the town, less than 100 meters from the playground.
For younger children (4/5 years) there is a pre-school drop in centre run buy a local charity. The staff are all highly trained and qualified and there are lots of fun activities for little guests.
South of the town is Rattoo Round Tower which will inspire the imaginations of children and adults alike. And there is always Ballybunion theatre with shows on every week that can be enjoyed by the entire family.
If the weather turns wet there's always the indoor pool in the town leisure centre or for older kids maybe a short trip to one of the many arcades in the town will amuse them for a while. Watch the budget though as you won't notice your cash being swallowed by hungry slot machines!
Activities For Adults
Again the beach is a must. There are also lots of pubs and fast food joints in the town. If you want to eat in a more up market establishment, rach ti Conor and McMunns are supposed to be the better establishments.
Ballybunion has a tradition of seaweed bath that is carried on today in the new leisure centre, it's oddly refreshing and worth the experience.
For golfers the town has a world-class golf course that sports stars and VIP's from around the world have played.

Alright, do you know the signs for a town in English and Gaelic you always see in pubs and such. Whether it be of a town or a street... I am looking to buy one of these but can't find one. Anyone know where I could purchase a actual road sign from Ireland.
