Flight To Ireland

Cheap Flights To Ireland

Many people visit Ireland every year for a lot of different reasons. Whether you are visiting Ireland to view the beautiful loughs, green countryside or just to visit a traditional Irish Pub, you will not be disappointed.

Since the turn of the century, there has been one airline who have been predominant in reducing the cost of flights which in turn gives everyone withing Europe and some countries just outside Europe the chance to avail of cheap flights to Ireland. The airline I am speaking about is Ryanair and although many may criticize their business ethics, there is no denying that they are the leading company in providing cheap flights not only to Ireland but all over Europe.

One who may be travelling to Ireland from the United states or beyond will not be able to avail of flights from Ryanair as of now because they do not fly to long haul destinations but do not start to worry yet. This airline has been trading in profit ever since they became a Public Limited Company and with the Irish flag carrying airline "Aer Lingus" struggling with financial difficulty, it may be just around the corner when Ryanair's CEO Michael O' Leary who already owns shares in Aer Lingus makes a bid takeover bid which may be the spark of long haul cheap flights to Ireland.

It has been previously state by Ryanair's CEO that he could provide one way long haul flights for 15. This would provide the travelling public with cheap flights not only to and from Ireland but in fact all over the world. Don't get too excited for the moment, If you are familiar with Ryanair's current business model then you will probably be aware that the price you see is not always the price you get. You could probably expect to see higher checked baggage charges, higher charges on in-flight items such ass drinks and snacks and don't expect to have much leg space or even a T.V screen to view any movies. If you are lucky enough to have a T.V, the likelihood is that you will be paying for it.

Until the day comes when we have really cheap flights to Ireland, we will have to make do with the current days airlines such as Aer Lingus and KLM who can charge anywhere from 200 for a one way flight. Please do not let these prices put you off visiting Ireland. It is a beautiful place to visit with it's spectacular mountains and coastlines not to mention the weather. There is also a range of accommodation options ranging from hostels and B&B's to the Park Hotel.

Enjoy your visit to Ireland.

where can i find cheap flights to ireland?
where can i find cheap flights to ireland? i am hoping to travel as an unaccompanied minor this august from any new jersey/new york airport to shannon or dublin airport in ireland. i found some cheap flights the other day ($400-$500) and now those fares went up to $1000 and higher. i have tried many websites as well as airlines (continental, american, united, us, delta, aer lingus, etc.) and i cannot find any fares under $800. i know that it is expensive to fly to ireland in the summer, but can someone please help me find a cheap flight? i have a lot of family over there (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, etc.) and i hope to see them this summer!
