Ferries To France From Ireland

Hop A Ride On "The Oscar Wilde Ferry"

Associated Content being a place where people always good stories about famous writers, The Oscar Wilde Ferry will not disappoint you. For those of you doubting whether Oscar Wilde was truly Irish or not, he was born in Dublin in 1934. The Oscar Wilde Ferry is a mode of transportation that will help you get to France and view all of the great markets and historical sites of Paris for example as noted by Irishferries. The Oscar Wilde Ferry has plenty of entertainment for all kinds of passengers to enjoy. If you are one to enjoy the theater, the Oscar Wilde contains two cinemas. Not just one cinema, but yes indeed two cinemas do indeed fit on the ferry. In another way of honoring the arts The Oscar Wilde Ferry also has a piano bar with some live music for you to enjoy while you are on your voyage.

There are three of four places to grab a bite to eat on the Oscar Wilde Ferry. This would include Cafe Lafayette which has a diverse menu full of Italian food like panini and a lot of different dishes so everyone in your party will find something to enjoy. There is even a steakhouse for beef eating carnivores like me to enjoy a good steak at. The Oscar Wilde Ferry is not a refuge for the persecuted smoker as there is no smoking. Yes, even the Irish have what some people would deem to be fascist tendencies. The Oscar Wilde Ferry can legally hold up to almost fifteen hundred passengers. You certainly will meet a diverse group of great people from all over the world aboard the Oscar Wilde.

The Oscar Wilde is officially listed as being a twenty two year old ship. The ship is fairly wheelchair accessible with some lifts and elevators on board. The boat itself doesn't rock very much and the staff is very polite to all trip goers. For a man who reportedly according to historians and scholars only wrote one novel as noted by the Oscar Wilde Society to have a ship named after you is quite an impressive feet. If Oscar Wilde were alive today it is hard to say what he would think of the lavish nature of this vessel, but you certainly cannot deny the success and longevity of a career and a body of work of an otherwise very short life. The lecturer, essayist and poet from Dublin did well.
