A Visitors Guide To Dublin Ireland

You are planning a trip to Dublin, Ireland and you need a few travel ideas. If you have never been to Dublin before you will enjoy the experience. You will have the best time if you have some idea of the sights available to you.

Here are some things you may want to know about Dublin before you get on the plane: The weather can be tricky, even the forecasters seem to have trouble getting it right. You will find that the weather in Dublin is nothing if not changeable. It may be sunny one moment and then rainy, cloudy or even snowy the next. That being said, the coldest months are usually January and February. There is not a lot of snow in Ireland but when it does snow, everything pretty much comes to a standstill. July and August are the warmest months but this does not mean hot.

There are many things to see and do in Dublin although there is not one main attraction. There are attractions on both sides of the River Liffey. One of these attractions is the Molly Malone statue. It is located at the bottom of Grafton Street.

If you are interested in shopping you will want to stay on the south side of Dublin after viewing the Molly Malone Statue because this is where you will find the best shopping. The citys museums are also mostly located in this area of Dublin. Want to see both of Dublins cathedrals? They are on the south side of the River Iffey, too.

Save some time for the north side of the city of Dublin. Moore Street and Henry Street are interesting places to visit because of the atmosphere. You will also find a museum or two and places to eat.

A few other places to plan on visiting are: The Guinness Brewery, Trinity College, Merrion Square and Leinster House. The National Gallery is worthy of some time as is the gorgeous Dublin Castle and the Dublin Writers Museum.

Other places you may want to put on your itinerary are; the Dublin Castle, Merrion Square, Leinster House, the Dublin Writers Museum, and the National Gallery. The Guinness Brewery is also a popular stop as is Trinity College.

For those budget-minded travelers there are many things to do in Dublin that will allow you to stay on your budget. You can see a rather inexpensive movie in Dublin if you go to the theater before 6pm. For those who want a reasonably cheap way to travel throughout the city of Dublin, you can take the inter-city rail network. This network joins the north and south suburbs and there are several places of interest along the way.

If you enjoyed Phoenix Park you may want to visit one of the other parks in Dublin. Take your lunch along and head for the gardens in Dublin Castle or the Iveagh Gardens. St. Stephens Green is also a lovely place to picnic.

Whether you are a first-time visitor or a seasoned veteran of Dublin, Ireland you will always remember this wonderful city.
