I asked if an American car stereo would work in Europe. What I meant was would the AM-FM signal be the same?
I am an American living in Ireland. I just bought a nice used car with a bad in-dash stereo. To get a nice CD in-dash here would cost more than twice as much as buying one from the U.S. even after paying the shipping. Then the local electronics guy can fit it in. I just wasn't sure the radio signal frequencies would be compatable. If anyone knows I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
